“Bridging Culture, Technology and Society in the Digital Age” has successfully concluded in Istanbul, bringing together 48 participants from Bulgaria’s cultural and creative sector for an international learning experience focused on digital skills, artistic practice, and collaboration.
Organised by Digital Partnerships for Creative Europe (DiPaCre) as part of its accredited Erasmus+ mobility activities, the programme took place from 10–19 April 2026. It was hosted by Genç Ufuklar Kulübü (Young Horizons Club), in collaboration with Culture Hub Bulgaria and Hub Culturel et Éducatif Paris.
Throughout the mobility, participants explored how cultural professionals can respond to technological change while maintaining a thoughtful approach to creativity, communication, and social responsibility. The programme connected cultural management, media literacy, public speaking, sustainability, video production, and the practical use of artificial intelligence.
The final sessions brought these perspectives together through “The Complete Creative Workflow – From Concept to Performance.” Focusing on the full creative cycle, they explored how an initial idea can develop into a cultural product through artistic decisions, production planning, and the use of digital tools.
Particular attention was given to digitalisation and AI-assisted creative processes, examining how technology can support the development and realisation of artistic ideas. Music production and the integration of digital tools into artistic creation added another dimension, connecting sound with the wider process of preparing and presenting a performance.
These sessions helped participants consider the relationships between the different stages of creative work. They demonstrated how digital tools and AI can contribute to artistic expression when used with a clear purpose and an understanding of the intended result.
Beyond the training sessions, the mobility provided opportunities for exchange, networking, and the development of new European partnerships. Participants brought experiences from different parts of the cultural and creative sector, creating space to compare approaches, discuss shared challenges, and identify possibilities for future cooperation.
Participants are returning with stronger digital competences, new perspectives, and ideas to apply in their professional practice. The next step is to adapt this learning to the needs of their own projects, organisations, and communities—whether through cultural communication, digital content production, or experimentation with new creative methods.
For DiPaCre, the completion of this mobility is an important milestone in implementing our Erasmus+ Plan. It supports our commitment to continuous upskilling, high-quality adult learning, and sustained international cooperation in the Cultural and Creative Industries.
We thank all 48 participants, our trainers, the team at Genç Ufuklar Kulübü, and our collaborating organisations for their commitment and contributions throughout the programme.
We look forward to seeing the ideas developed in Istanbul take shape through new cultural projects, shared learning, and continued collaboration.
